You will witness the great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This tour is only available during the exclusive wildebeest season from the 1st July to the 31st October every year and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive followed by dinner and overnight at a campsite within or near Tarangire.
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and beautiful lake views. In the evening, drive to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for camping.
Begin the day with a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Depending on timing, enjoy a brief cultural stop or crater view. Dinner and overnight camping at a campsite near the crater rim.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to a dense concentration of wildlife including rhinos, lions, and hippos. After the safari, visit a traditional Maasai Boma to learn about their culture before returning to Arusha in the afternoon.
